Whether the Entrepreneur or the Entertainer was born first is hard to tell. Danielle enjoyed an early career as a vivacious
presenter for sports shows on ESPN and Fox Sports, and as a huge sports fan it was a natural fit.
In parallel Danielle was becoming the serial entrepreneur that she’s known for today. While in college she not only launched her first business, but she also acquired her brokers and real estate licenses which would soon allow her to start her own real estate development company – buying properties to upgrade and then rent across the US.

Combining Two Worlds
That keen eye for identifying opportunities and developing them grew into a passion for both real estate and TV production. Combining these two entities into a perfect blend of very watchable content – an uplifting tonic for the soul, was the obvious next step.
While researching the international market for the potential expansion of her real estate companies, Danielle discovered the #1 Property and Travel Show – A Place in the Sun.
Business negotiations for the US license were swiftly handled and a season was soon produced for The Discovery Channel and International Distribution.
While A Place in the Sun was airing across the world, Danielle decided to take the advice she had shared with so many guests on her show, and move abroad herself. After traveling to over fifty countries, and living in six different international cities, she returns to TV with a renewed sense of what it’s really like to find ‘home’ across the globe.

Through these personal journeys Danielle has continued to be curious about the human condition and what happens to us when we travel. What is it to live authentically? What might it be like to leave everything behind and start anew? How much does environment influence psyche? How has the “American Dream” evolved? What might have replaced it? How are people going about creating new lives in new countries?
Danielle looks to educate and entertain our households by sharing not only her own experiences of life abroad, but how some individuals and families have arrived at their own answers; stories of deep reflection and big dreams, and how spiritual outlook, political perspective, and the economic and practical how-tos of living abroad shape those dreams and bring them into reality.
